Our Story
Where It All Began
Pepe’s story began in London in 2007 when Piri Piri chicken was almost unknown in the UK. Our first restaurant introduced customers to a bold new flavour. Curious visitors came for the name, but they returned for the taste. We soon became a rapidly growing UK-based halal fast-food chain specializing in freshly prepared, flame-grilled chicken with various spice levels.
